Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you will know, I love sport. Volleyball, football, rounders, tennis, rollerblading - I'm happiest when catching a ball or chasing one across a field. But I hate running. Always have. It always seemed pointless and dull.

But at the start of 2013, with my 30th birthday looming, I thought this irrationality needed to stop.  Dan finally got me to run for more than 15 minutes on a cold morning in January and once I achieved that, I thought I should probably set myself a proper goal.

So THIS Saturday, I'm running in my first race ever and doing a 10k. Which seems mad to me as I've never run that far before. It's certainly no marathon but we all have to start somewhere...

Please give generously to this charity, who do great work, and make me keep my promise!
