Story

Im the luckiest person in the world. I grew up in the mid-late 80's from a split family, but where I lucked out was that I was fortunate enough to have two dads, who both stuck by me from the age of 2.

Having lived a healthy life; never smoking or drinking, and generally being quite a normal person, a few months back one of my dads was diagnosed with Leukemia.

Since finding out about this, he was in hospital for 3 months in a room by himself, as the room had to be sterilized. Additionally, his body weight dropped from around 82kgs/182lbs/13st to around 55kgs/121lbs/8.6st

Quite scary to watch the deterioration, but knocks home the importance of giving back to the world, and having already signed up for Tough Mudder, figure this would be a good opportunity to connect the two. I will be running the 10 mile/16km course and being my egotistical self, am not training for it, so when I complete it, I can say "I still got it!". Its an ego thing ;-)

I had set myself a target that had been hit....so Im going to see if any more can be raised :-) xx

Thank you for considering donating :-)
