Having originally entered London 2020 for YLVC (formerly CLIC Sargent), I have now decided to kick on and run a number of marathons over the 12(ish) months between running the London Marathon substitute event and hopefully running in London in October 2021.

I first came across YLVC whilst studying at Bristol University where we used alternative means to raise money for the charity (namely a medics strip show). Through this experience however I had the good fortune to see the amazing work that YLVC do for young families going through the worst of times. The charity supports families whose young members have been diagnosed with cancer, providing support and funding research in to the effects of a diagnosis on not only the young patients, but also their families.
