Willmott Dixon Central South Challenge 2019 - Doing The Wight Thing · 27 September 2019

The Foundation, established by Willmott Dixon Group, is part of a community investment programme, giving money and staff time to charities and local community projects. It also backs causes supported by our employees in their own time and makes a contribution to their fundraising.

Story

This year the Willmott Dixon Central South team will be heading to the Isle of Wight to raise money for Building for the Future, a parent led charity in Wokingham who provide activities, support and therapy for children with disabilities and/or additional needs and their families.

On the 27th and 28th September the team will take part in a choice of three different walks around the Isle of Wight:

Kumba - 66 mile walk

Vigo - 35 mile walk

Aysha - 20 mile walk

These walks will finish at the Isle of Wight Zoo for the opening of a new enclosure to house lions Kumba and Vigo who were rescued from a circus in Spain. Leading up to the challenge weekend our people, with support from some of our supply chain partners, will be volunteering to design and build this new enclosure.

We would be grateful for any donation you can give to help support this great cause. Thank you for your support!

As part of its social and community investment programme, Willmott Dixon wants to back the personal causes of the people who work for the Company. A contribution will therefore be made to my charity from The Willmott Dixon Foundation for every donation made through this Just Giving site. Please be assured that your contribution to my fundraising will reach my chosen charity.
