Thanks for taking the time to visit Luke's JustGiving page.
For a while now Luke has said he wants to climb Snowdon, but the date is never set. So, I've decided to pick the date for him! 27th May 2017!
The Watkin Path is the toughest route to the summit of Snowdon, and therefore less travelled. Dangerous loose scree and rocks on the upper stretch, a hard to follow path in places, some scarily steep drops, and tricky footing!
Ascent: 3330ft (1015m)
Time: 6-7 hours
I've selected the Watkin Path for Luke's climb as we don't want to make it easy for him lol. Luke will be walking in aid of the Happy Staffie Rescue to support the great work they do!
Happy Staffie Rescue is an independent dog rescue with a non destruction policy that specialises in supporting the Staffordshire bull terrier and related cross breeds.
Happy Staffie Rescue's aim is to help save, care for and rehome as many Staffordshire bull terriers as they can. They receive no financial support from local or central government, nor are they supported by a larger national charity. They depend on the generosity of ordinary people to enable them to do what they do. For more information please visit their website - www.happystaffierescue.org.uk
So, if you would like to help Luke raise a little money to support Happy Staffie Rescue please feel free to donate. Every penny of your donations will go to them :)
27th May 2017 will be an interesting day!
Wish him luck!!
