The Rise Up Three Peaks Challenge!

24 HOURS - THREE PEAKS - ONE GROUP

My course at Uni and some of our faculty are attempting to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, all within a 24 hour period... Crazy!

The challenge will be significant and the cause is great. For more than ten years Serious4God has worked to reach young people, equip youth leaders, and inspire dynamic youth ministry in the local church throughout the Elim movement. Through events like The Gathering literally thousands of young people have given their lives to Jesus for the first time. We are grateful for all that God has done in the past, but believe the ceilings of yesterday are the floors of tomorrow!

Serious4God is now intent on stretching wider in order to go further by increasing our involvement with two vital age groups: kids and young adults.

Studies have shown us that only 3% of young adults in the UK attend church on a regular basis, which is significantly below the average in comparison with other age groups... we simply cannot do nothing. Yet we also know that the resolution for this problem is not simply reaching people when they are older, but also while they are younger. The fact that 83% of adults who are Christians now made a commitment to Jesus between the ages of 4-14 clearly demonstrates this.

Our vision to reach these people groups is not limited, but our finance is. That's why we're asking that you would give generously as we undertake this massive challenge, in order to resource this vital task.
