The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

The rumours are true!!! The heavy pounding you hear up and down your streets each morning and evening is me, I am running the 2011 London Marathon!

I have decided to run this year for St John's Ambulance, a charity everyone knows, and one that is particularly close to my heart. Having sworn solemnly a few years back that I would do the marathon by 25, I have fianlly realised that not only am I on the verge of a quarter life crisis but also that this is my first and last attempt!

St John's Ambulance is such a worthy charity, few people realise that without there support many of the sporting activities we all enjoyed as a child would be possible without their volunteers time and dedication. They provide training and medical services to thousands each year, last year alone over 800,000 recived training through St John's Ambulance's courses, these are the people that are the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

Please, please, please help me reach my taget of £2000 and support me by digging deep, every little helps!!! But a lot helps a whole lot quicker!!!
