Lisa Carey is raising money for Isabel Hospice

Christmas lights on for Isabel Hospics · 20 December 2020

If you have a life-limiting illness, we can care for you and your family. Our care is free and can be provided in your home, at our Living Well community hubs or our In-Patient Unit.

Story

Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 340,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for around 1,855 people but we know there are even more people that need our help.

The past few years Lyn and Alan have held an event to turn on their Christmas lights and raise money for Isabel Hospice. Alan, a carpenter, has made some amazing displays over the past few years with the help of his wife, Lyn. In previous years we have had a castle, Santa’s sleigh, New York and the beautiful Santa’s workshop. This event brings the community together with thanks to friends and local businesses for their support and donations.

Unfortunately, due to COVID, Lyn and Alan are unable to host the event this year. However if anyone is able they would be very grateful for any donations to Isabel Hospice.
