CHALLENGE COMPLETED! 

I am running a total of 27 miles, the equivalent of a round trip on the RHDR. Both of my boys (age 7 & 10) will be walking this distance too, to help raise money for RHDR, which is a place we all love. This challenge can be done in as many, or as little, sessions, to complete the distance. 

The RHDR has a proud history. Since its founding 93 years ago it has served holiday makers and locals alike –and was even requisitioned during the war to improve the coastal defences. However, along with other heritage railways, the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway has been badly affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. Together with the Railway, the Association is fundraising to ensure that the RHDR not only survives safely this winter but also steams on to its centenary in 2027
