Seven years ago I had the pleasure of teaching a lovely little 6 year old girl. After a few months, she was diagnosed with an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) which is an abnormal connection between her arteries and veins. Sadly, as this is a rare illness there was little research being done to try and help people like Nikki. That was until she, along with her family, began this charity.

Now  at 13, that lovely little girl has grown into an amazing young lady, overcoming  challenges and becoming a massive inspiration to so many people. She has won numerous awards and is a youtube superstar!

So, I have decided to set my own challenge climbing Table Mountain in Capetown, South Africa next month. No matter how long it takes me, I know I’ll get there. I just hope I don’t get lost along the way!
