Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

We're Lyndsey and Stephen - sister and brother-in-law - and we're taking part in the Great Scottish Swim on Strathclyde Loch on 21 August.

We're both swimming to raise funds for Alzheimer Scotland.

We're aiming to complete the one-mile course in under one hour. We were both members of the Dumbarton District Dolphins, but it's been a long time since we've done any serious swimming!

Our own families - and those of many people we know - have been affected by Alzheimer's or dementia.

Alzheimer Scotland helps people with dementia, their carers and families. It provides local support to people affected by Alzheimer's throughout Scotland.

Please help us smash our target!
