Dementia Adventure thinks differently about dementia. We look at what people can do, not what they can’t. We offer supported holidays and dementia training so people with dementia can get outside, experience the wellbeing benefits of nature and enjoy more active and fulfilled lives.

Story

Dad was a keen sportsman who loved his holidays, experiencing new places, meeting new people and having fun.

Sadly as Dads Alzheimer's progressed this became more and more difficult for Dad and Mum to do on their own.

Its sad to think over 900,000 people in the UK live with dementia: a diagnosis that often leads to isolation indoors.

Dementia Adventure thinks differently about dementia. Their focus is on the individual, not the condition.

Through their holidays, training and research, they  increase opportunities for Dementia sufferers to stay active, keep connected to family and friends, and retain a sense of adventure in their lives.

A lifeline to those affected and their carers, often in desperate need of support and happiness.

This is an entirely self funded challenge, so all the money raised will go directly to Dementia Adventure and the people that need it the most.

Thank you for your support and wish me luck! :)
