Story
Family & friends will cheer me on June 22nd 2014 in a sponsored CF vs Food challenge to help raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis (CF).
The challenge is inspired by the US TV programme 'Man vs Food' and the link between CF and high calorie diet.
Similar to the programme, I will be faced with mountains of hot chicken wings and cakes and be racing against the clock to finish every last bite!
I suffer from Cystic Fibrosis which affects my digestion. This means it is a constant struggle to eat a high fat, high calorie diet every single day. My body struggles to retain weight and absorb essential fats and vitamins. I also have to take handfuls of digestive enzyme tablets with everything I eat.
To eat this much food in one sitting will be the ultimate challenge!
PLEASE HELP TO CHEER ME ON AND DONATE TODAY! Donations will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to mark the 50th anniversary challenge month in June.
Cystic fibrosis is a life threatening condition affecting the lungs & digestive system, which requires handfuls of tablets, treatments and physiotheraphy everyday.
The current life expectancy is just 43 years old, but the continued work of the CF Trust is helping to make a real difference to peoples lives.
ALL donations will be very much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
