Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK - including me! 

It affects the lungs and digestive system - causing irreversible lung damage and reduced lung function until eventually a lung transplant is needed  

Currently, half of those with CF will not live past 31 years old. I feel incredibly greatful to still be here age 35 and I want to make the most of it! 

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is a 24 mile trek - so this wont be easy for me, especially as I only have one third of my lung function left, but I am really looking forward to the challenge.
