CXL & friends Coast to Coast Bike Ride · 17 September 2009

Founded originally as Blackburn Orphanage over 130 years ago. Our mission is to support children, adults and families across the country, ensuring that when life presents difficult circumstances we’re there every step of the way to make sure they get the support they need.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

The CXL workforce development team & friends will be cycling coast to coast on 17th and 18th Sept.  We’ll be cycling 135 miles from Lytham St Anne to Scarborough.

We’re doing this to raise money to make a difference to the lives of a group of young carers.  The money you donate will provide funds for activities that provide young carers with much needed respite.

·         £60 will provide a group with self defence training or a bowling trip

·         £140 will provide a group trip to the cinema or ice skating.

·         £300 will provide a Go Ape or Own a Pony for a day experience for a group of young carers

·         £400 will provide a group paintballing experience

·         £600 will provide a theme park experience for up to 50 young carers

·         £1000 will provide a residential weekend with outward bound activities

We'd really appreciate your support to make a difference to these young people’s lives.

We promise to take pictures along the way to evidence the joy and the pain!
