Story
Dear friends,
A year ago I lost my dear father to the disease of Alzheimer’s.
I knew very little about this disease and didn’t even realise it was a terminal disease. Yet 46 million people live with dementia
today and this number is expected to triple by 2050.
Very little is known about causes and prevention of brain related diseases and investment into research is crucial in order to prevent a global pandemic.
In memory of my father I am raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK and I will be running a half marathon in March and hopefully (help me God!) the London Marathon at the end of April this year. My target is to raise at least 2,600 pounds and your support would mean the world to me.
Thank you very much!!!
