Story
On the 18th of October we will be taking on the National Three Peaks in 24 hr's challenge to raise money for the Hinckley Charity, SNIPS. SNIPS offer inclusive group activities for children & young adults with special needs. Unfortunately, this year due to lack of funding SNIPS may have to close. As such, our goal is to raise £500 to go towards running costs and to keep this fantastic charity alive!

About SNIPS
Founded in 1986, Special Needs Integration Projects is a registered charity (number 1162574) which helps children, young people and adults with a learning and/or physical disability in South West Leicestershire.
Fundraising (Quoted from the SNIPS website)
Two years ago we had a Service Level Agreement with Leicestershire County Council. This money represented 47% of what we needed annually. Unfortunately, that contract no longer exists, replaced instead by a place on their framework. This figure is now 20%.
In very simple terms, if the situation doesn’t change, the 2019 summer schemes will be the last thing we do. The obvious solution is to increase our revenue but that is easier said than done. Alternatively, we could limit the number of families we work with, which ultimately goes against the whole SNIPS ethos or carry on spending until we have nothing left.
I can assure you that we will do all we can to ensure the survival of the organisation but any help that you as parents/carers can offer would be very much appreciated.
