As many people know, cancer is devastating for the people who get it and also for their friends and family. Beechwood Cancer Care Centre help people who have suffered the loss of someone or who are experiencing someone close to them having cancer. One in two people in the U.K will be diagnosed with some sort of cancer at some point in their lives.

In 7W we feel that we should do something to help people who are suffering someone close to them having cancer. We will be running, swimming, rowing, cross-training and cycling for a full week. We will be aiming to raise £300, but hopefully our target will rise. 

In our class, our friend Harrison sadly suffered the loss of his Mum and he had counselling, he said that without help from Beechwood he couldn’t have got through this tragic situation. Harrison and many other people like him would be so grateful if you can donate generously.
