THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND DONATIONS - FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T YET - THERE'S STILL TIME, SO DIG DEEP..............
Maria and Jason decided to take on the challenge of the Sahara Desert Trek and raise funds for the Acorns Children’s Hospice. Jason felt that before his 60th birthday and before his body fell apart he wanted to do something memorable and worthwhile and this Sahara Trek Challenge was a great focus. Maria’s focus and challenge is to look after her Dad and keep him on track! They are both committed to raise money through sponsorship, charity auctions and donations. So please help us to achieve our target. The Acorns Children’s Hospice cares for children and young people who have life limiting and life threatening conditions. This means they are unlikely to reach adulthood as a cure for their condition cannot be found. Acorns provide short break, emergency and end-of-life care, with a team to support the family 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We cannot change the fact that a child will die, but with your help we can provide specialist care for them, and create a home-from-home atmosphere in order to help the children to enjoy their stay and make the most of every day.
