All my friends know I became a bit obsessed with the old getting back on the bike thing during the last couple of years and I thought why not combine this with a bit of charity work and see who I could help, in the last couple of years I have raised over £800 for save the children and the children's brain tumour research centres, this years charity is the wish upon a star people who help make people who suffer from some terrible conditions achieve their deepest wishes.

Although I think I have got things a bit backward I thought as you got older you should take things a bit easier, but I seem to be making things more difficult for myself, my first charity ride was for 50 miles the next was 75 miles and this one is going for the big 100 miles (well I did say I was a bit mad haha)

its been a tough start to the year, a major injury over Christmas caused me to have to stop training for two months so I am now only really getting back into things and its only a few months before the ride, but I am confident of getting back to full fitness and making the ride, all I need now to really motivate me is for you to sponsor me (blatant plug but what can you do)

Every penny will help so please help me raise as much as I can for this great cause, I will be uploading pictures and comments throughout the day, hopefully it will be a great day, there are normally thousands of people who take to the roads for this ride, so as I said if you can help me along the way I would be most grateful.
