RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On September 12th, 2015 three of MAST's Transit Managers and one Regional Training Operations Coordinator will be taking on the Ben Nevis Charity Challenge in order to raise funds for the esteemed RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution). The challenge is for a team of four to complete a 12 mile walk to the summit of Ben Nevis and back, two cycle legs totaling 25 miles, and a canoe section on the spectacular Loch Lochy.

This will be no small feat, with each participant completing over 3 months of training both in the gym and the outdoors.

It is our hope that you will dig deep and give generously to our chosen charity. While all this training is certainly good for our health and will definitely help with the challenge on the day, we need to remember to work just as hard to reach our JustGiving goal of £1,000!
