Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. The idea is to walk the 800k Camino to achieve a number of goals. Firstly, to raise awareness of the simply stunning work that FareShare does, not just in Sussex but all over the UK and Ireland. Secondly, to raise money for FareShare Sussex to help them in their work with the charities, community groups and frontline agencies that support vulnerable communities. Thirdly, to support our fledgling corporate social responsibility programme...

Starting on the 24th of May 2017, accompanied by a lifelong friend, I shall takes the first steps on the Camino starting from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago in northern Spain . As tradition dictates, wearing my kilt...don't ask why!

The crucial point is that every £10 donated buys 40 nutritious meals distributed by the frontline organisations  that FareShare supports. FareShare fights hunger and food waste in the UK to feed over 400,000 people in need every week. It's a remarkable achievement that needs our support.
