I am taking up this challenge in memory of my wonderful husband Nige, who passed away earlier this year from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Nige was a wonderful person, he had a zest for life which never left him despite his battle with cancer for the last 18 months of his life. He was always doing good to help others, whether it was giving blood or helping school children with GCSE mock exam papers, or simply playing the role of Father Christmas at the golf club Christmas party. I just know that his inspiring energy and spirit will be willing me along every step of the way.
