Build a Secondary School for orphans in Sylhet, Bangladesh
Our target is £130,000 to construct the whole secondary school, inshaAllah. This means 1,000 generous donors have the opportunity to give at least £130, which will pay for 11 square feet of the overall construction.
In Bangladesh, where over 600,000 children are currently out of school and a staggering 80% only attend lessons for two to three hours a day, the Sylhet School of Excellence in Khadimnagar provides a much needed opportunity for orphaned and needy children to access a quality education as well as medical check-ups and daily nutritious meals.
The school already facilitates primary level children and is now expanding to include a brand new secondary school section which will cater to children aged from 11-15 years old.
By donating to the School Fund you will be ensuring that orphaned and needy children will receive a comprehensive education that equips them for the future and help them break out of the cycle of poverty.
