I am raising money for MIND charity by doing a 58km trek in Iceland from 5-9 August 2018.

To raise their profile of Mind, the mental health charity, Lucy will be doing a gruelling 58km trek in August to raise money so that Mind can continue their incredible work. Weather in Iceland is unpredictable so the team will encounter sun, snow, hail, rain and very strong winds, whilst covering a variety of terrains and camping at night.

They will be crossing the Landmannalaugar route through one of the most actively volcanic and alien landscapes in Iceland.  Although the duration is short, the days are long and the terrain is very challenging with steep climbs and rough descents.

Mind is a national mental health charity that offers free advice and low cost counselling to people in desperate situations.
