As part of my sports and leadership course at the MK College I have the amazing opportunity, along with some other students, to travel to Uganda and help in the small community of Telela, . During this two week experience I will be working alongside teachers in a primary school to help support development of PE teaching. This will include helping with coaching the teachers and children in a series of different sports and activities, which most may never have had the opportunity to experience before. At the end of the two weeks I will help put together a sports day to bring the community together.

LightForce International are a non profit making charity and have been working in Telela since 2003.  Over the years they have purchased land to build a day nursery, primary school, care home, agricultural school and health clinic.  Their work has transformed the local community and given many children the chance of an education.
