Ray Thompson (from MMA Mental) and I have decided to take ourselves out of our comfort zone to help raise some much needed cash for a worthy charity.

On the 15th March 2014, we will be stepping into the cage at the Caged Fighters 7 show at Elland Road to fight each other in a Mixed Martial Arts tournament; a daunting prospect for two (currently) unfit fans of Mixed Martial Arts who have had very little firsthand experience of the sport.

This will require a significant amount of effort from the both of us to get into shape for this challenge, and I hope that our hard work, blood, sweat and possibly tears helps raise a significant amount of money for our chosen charities.

We also need as much help as possible to help with our training please! If you or anyone you know would like to help us with a diet plan, supplements, training and/or equipment; I would be very grateful and I can offer shout out from the ALMIGHTY FIGHTWEAR page and have your logos on my walk-out t shirt.

WHY AM I DOING THIS?

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a lifesaving rapid response emergency service to 5 million people across Yorkshire. We fly seven days a week, 365 days a year, covering a vast landscape that not only includes major cities and motor ways, but also rural and isolated locations.

To keep providing this life saving service the charity needs to raise £9990 per day to keep both of Yorkshire’s Air Ambulances maintained and in the air. The generosity that we receive is the life blood of the charity and without this generosity, we would not be able to provide the service that we are so proud of.
