6^th Class have been learning about refugees and asylum seeking. As part of our ethics and stewardship education we’ve decided to organise a charity event to help support refugees. Next Friday the 13^th of May, we will host a Bake Sale. All the proceeds will be donated to UNICEF Ireland. UNICEF work in over 190 countries to help the children in the greatest need. They provide lots of essential services like emergency relief, life-saving food, education, child protection etc.

The children in school are being asked to bring a donation of €1 for their cake/biscuit. Alternatively, you can donate here.

^6th Class are really looking forward to hosting this event and we hope all the children enjoy a nice cake for a good cause.
