Story

As good friends of Richard and Sally Lawrenson we have shared in some of the many up's and down's that living with MS can bring.

Last year Richard benefitted from being able to use the facilities on offer at the Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire MS Therapy Centre so we would like to be able to raise some money for the centre by completing a local circle 16 mile walk from West Hunsbury along the Nene Valley way  around the villages of Kislingbury, Nether Heyford, Flore to Weedon then back along the Grand Union Canal tow path to  Milton Malsor and back to West Hunsbury.

Following Richard's stay in hospital earlier this year,  we have been inspired by the strength and resilience shown by both Richard and Sally to manage all the constant challenges and changes that are necessary to live with the disease.

Going for a long walk and raising money to help people in similar circumstances seems like a good thing to be able to do.

You would be welcome to join us for the whole walk or meet us The Narrowboat at Weedon for the 2nd half at lunch time - please get in touch - or if you'd like to support in a different way please take the opportunity to sponsor and donate to the charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

thanks from all the walkers x
