Story
On 4th of March, 13 of the 1st XV Rugby Squad, the Headboy and their coach (Mr Mills) at Merchant Taylors' will be running the Big Half in London for Phab. As rugby players, long distance running is not what we're used to (especially the front row forwards running!), but we are all hitting the roads to try and complete it in under 2 hours.
The school runs a Phab week in Easter where 20 boys from the sixth form are carers for severely disabled teenagers from the local area. This gives them the opportunity to do a range of fun and exciting activities they may never have done before, as well as giving their parents/carers a week of much needed respite.
Phab UK is a charity which promotes the coming together on equal terms of disabled and non-disabled people to make more of life together - through exciting and challenging holiday projects for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people with 170 local Phab Clubs across England and Wales with 8,000 members.Thank you for supporting Phab and Phabkids - it makes such a difference
