After last year’s successful 54 mile London to Brighton fundraising bike ride, Macai is doing all over again. Except this time our 5 team members will be going a little further and competing in the Ride London 2016 100 mile event.

This annual event which is now in its 4^th year will take place on Sunday, 31^st July 2016. It starts in central London then heads out towards the Surrey Hills before looping back into London for a glorious finish along The Mall.

This year the Macai team will put on their lycra, apply their sun lotion in aid Macmillan Cancer Support a very worth while cause.

Macmillan’s main aim is to ensure no one should face cancer alone. Right from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to their treatment and beyond, Macmillan aim to be a constant source of support, giving the energy and inspiration to help those impacted by cancer take back control of their lives.

It is reckoned that over 1,000 people are diagnosed with cancer each day in the UK. Macmillan is a UK charity and 97% on its income comes from charitable support and given it reached out to 5.4m people in 2014, bringing much needed support, we have chosen to support it this year.
