I see you have stumbled across my page! well here is the answer to your why...

The following paragraph tells you why I am raising money for my chosen cause:

MNDA (Motor Neurones Disease Assosiation)

event where, what, when , and how.

There will be photo uploads youtube videos, being added to my page to show you exactly what is happening.

When I have completed my crazy challenge personal pictures of the event will be uploaded and a proof of video footage of me Jumping off the world's Biggest Bungee Swing!

So here is my story:

I was  a full-time carer when I lived in Uk, some time into my career I met an amazing man... Malcolm Dean a victim of motor neurones disease, when I met Malcolm it changed my outlook on life completely.

In the last few months of Malc's life, I was there everyday, daily...alongside the family and the rest of the team of girls (other carers) his routine changing dramatically, due to the disease shutting down his body so quickly, at speed no one could understand unless you were there to see with your own eyes. Mornings could be okay then by afternoon it could go down hill.

It seemed something would shut down everyday, meaning myself and the team of carers to figure out new ways of doing things, solutions, keeping communication with Malcolm was key due to him not being able to talk anymore. I cant imagine the frustration he must of gone through, his sanity, everything. A couple of years before he was a very active healthy man, only in his 50’s when he died…

Leaving behind a devoted wife, a loving mother to their son George, my manager Trish Dean, an amazing lady how she held her head up high and kept on smiling I’ll never know… definitely an iron lady, Malcolm’s sister Toni, his brother, his wife Trish, his son George, may we pray for this amazing family to give them strength, happiness, smiles all around just as Malcolm would wish for his family, happiness and peace.

May we pray Malcolm is now in a painless safe, peaceful place. He loved his Garden may his spirit live on in the beautiful garden the family are now left with.

I am Jumping Moses Mabhida Stadium to raise awareness, Okay I can’t change the way the world goes around, I can’t change the world, believe me if I could change this life and how it works I would. But sometimes you have to start somewhere this is where my journey begins and for others too, the families the victims lets make change happen join me on this quest I can’t do it alone…
