Amy & Friends provide support for the health and well being of sufferers of Cockayne Syndrome and their families and carers. We provide an annual members retreat where families spend time in each other's company and meet leading doctors and researchers. We also provide a family support worker.

Story

In honor of all of the beautiful caterpillars and butterflies of Amy & Friends Cockayne Syndrome Support, I'm raising money by flying the wire across Liverpool city centre! The date is September 11th, which is also the anniversary of the tragic falling of the Twin Towers in my own U.S.A.

Both of these things are important to me. My brother Knox passed away this past February from Cockayne Syndrome at 3 1/2 years old. He will forever be the love of my life. Many other children I have come to love have passed away as well. These children mean the world to me, and every little act of love means the world to them.

For the ones who aren't here, for the ones who are, and in memory of 9/11/2001, I'll be flying with red white and blue across Liverpool 1!! Its 800 ft long and it goes across the whole centre. The link below gives you an idea of how awesome this is. Help me raise money for these {my} kids!
