Story
Hello!
I’m a L6th student at Wellington College. My boarding house (the Orange) has for many years supported a very worthy children’s charity in Uganda; the Mityana Charity. Members of my house visit them regularly and we’ve seen first-hand the enormous positive impact the money has made.
The aims of the Mityana Charity are: 1. Relief of Poverty, 2. Advancement of Education, 3. Relief of Sickness and 4. The Promotion of Sustainable Development in the area of Mityana (Kibogo and Mubende) Uganda. If you would like to know more about the charity, I have copied in the link below:

This year, I’m determined to help this incredible cause as much as I can. I’m doing a two-week sponsored run, consisting of a 4.5km loop around school every morning (rain or shine!) and then a 5km run around Battersea Park on the weekends. I’m not a keen runner or even a morning person, so I know I’ll hate every second of it but I’m hoping you’ll all support me in this challenge. I’ll be posting screenshots of my steps and the distance daily to keep me motivated. I’m planning to start next Monday (2nd March). I’d love to raise a minimum of £350 but obviously the more, the better!
I would really appreciate any and all donations, however small – it’s for an amazing cause!!
Thank you so much!
