Story

Hiya,

So I’m doing a 5k run on the 28th of October for a charity called sands. This charity helps bereaved parents who have lost babies in the past. Unfortunately this charity is very close to home. On January 12th 2018 I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd child, i was scared and unsure. On the 4th week of pregnancy I was rushed to hospital as they suspected an ectopic pregnancy, they couldn’t see nothing on the scans and i had some bleeding. I had surgery to check in my Fallopian tubes and got the all clear but they suspected I lost a twin. Everything was fine and I had a scan at 6 weeks to see a healthy baby and I couldn’t of been happier. On the 12th week of my pregnancy I started bleeding, I thought nothing of it until 2 days later I started to feel what felt like contractions, I went up to the hospital and they said that there was no active bleeding and they booked me in for a scan the next day at 2pm. The following day March 13th I woke up and I was in excruciating pain, I couldn’t move let alone walk, the blood and clots I lost were ridiculously big and I couldn’t even wait for my scan. I got to the hospital to be confirmed I was losing my baby. I passed more clots and lost so much blood I got rushed down to theatre in 15 minutes for a D&C to get the remains out. To this day still, I am heartbroken and it haunts me daily.

Every donation, Little or big is greatly appreciated! Thank you for reading my story and thank you for supporting me xx
