NICE is a leading UK charity transforming the lives of disabled children and adults who have movement disorders such as cerebral palsy and Parkinson’s. We push the boundaries of their potential by teaching them through conductive education, new ways of controlling the effect of their condition.

Story

In 2001 Yasmin (my wife) had suffered a stroke affecting her balance and co-ordination.  Following extensive hospital treatment, she was finally discharged from hospital care, with no further re-habilitation treatments available.

The National Institute for Conductive Education, based in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, were able to help her overcome many of her movement problems and increase her independance.

This is my opportunity to give them something in return.
