Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am hoping to help a charity that was first brought to my attention by a local supporter, Warren Thomson, who owns the Hoochie Coochie club on Pilgrim Street. This club exists to be the home of black music soul, funk and jazz in Newcastle. Warren uses the proceeds to regularly support this charity and I wanted to do my small bit to support this worthy cause as way of celebrating my 65th Birthday this year. [It is actually in July, but I am postponing the celebration until 15th September to give us plenty of time to raise some money so please dig deep.]
The charity is very small and all the funds raised (100%) goes directly to support the St Johns School for the Deaf in Serrekunda. For more details please visit their facebook page.
