Back in the pre-COVID days, every weekday morning started with coffee with my coworkers at Chrysalis... no so much anymore. In fact, I've decaffeinated myself but my weakness for coffee is real so I've started a personal challenge and am adding some fundraising fun around it. 

Starting March 1, 2021 through April 30, I will partake in no morning coffees. For every day during this period (61 days) I'll be asking friends and family to help or I'll be adding a $5 donation to this fundraising page - aka the cost of a fancy latte or some steamed oat milk, cortado concoction. 

My total goal is $305 ($5 x 61days). 

Will you please buy me a pretend fancy coffee by donating to this page? A $35 donation would keep me pretend-caffeinated for a whole week!

Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals who are navigating barriers to employment prepare for and find jobs. I share Chrysalis' vision of a world in which everyone has the opportunity to work and thrive. For this reason, I am asking you to make a contribution to the Chrysalis COVID-19 Response & Recovery Campaign.

As we confront the pandemic-fueled economic crisis, we need to ensure that everyone has access to employment opportunities. Through their job-readiness program and employment social enterprise, Chrysalis connects 1,700 clients a month to vital resources and support, including assistance with rent, transportation, transitional job opportunities, and referrals to temporary and permanent employment.
