Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Saturday 13th November "Team Mandeville" cycled 55 miles to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

We set off from the Hospital at just after 9am and cycled around the NW Region of the Goddard Veterinary Group visiting all 10 branches during opening hours ending up back at the Mandeville at just after 4pm.

The route we followed was from Northolt to Hayes End to Uxbridge to Ickenham to Greenford to Harrow Weald to Edgware to North Finchley to Acton to Wembley to Eastcote and back to Northolt. It was a reasonably easy ride with a couple of challenges over Mill Hill onto Totteridge Common to North Finchley and then later in the ride over Harrow on the Hill on the leg between Wembley and Eastcote. The last 3 miles from Eastcote back to the Mandeville turned into a sprint with Jeremy, Kerri and Andy challenging for the lead. Jeremy finished first by just a whisker.

We had a great day, with good cycling weather and lots of comeraderie to get us through the day.

Thanks to Ben and Gen and baby Oliver in the support team making sure that we were fed and watered throughout the day.
