31st May Pier to Pier Walk for Dravet UK

Throwing myself out of a plane for Dravet UK · 26 March 2014
My little boy, Alexander has Dravet Syndrome. He has multiple seizures and at the moment there is no cure for this devastating and severe form of epilepsy. Although there is currently no cure for Dravet's there is a treatment which is working wonders in reducing seizure activity and increasing neuro-development. It is called CBD. Currently it is being used for paediatric epilepsy in the US with great success. As of now, no trials are planned for the UK. Money is needed to research the use of CBD for non retractable epilepsy in children before any safety trials can get off the ground.
