After a long and painful 3 year battle with cancer, my friend Steph Long passed away peacefully on 13 June 2016. She had everything to live for, a career, good friends, a loving husband Owen and two lovely step kids, Alex and Chandler. In her final few months Steph was cared for by The Rowans Hospice, a local charity I have heard wonderful things about via other friends who have come across their services, sadly. They gave Steph all the care and attention she needed in those critical last few months, which was extremely important to her family and friends.

Owen has requested that any donations should go to the Rowan’s Hospice in memory of Steph and to thank them for all their support, which is why I have decided to run The Great South Run this year along with Owen and Chandler.
