It's time to give back. I run miles and this year I would like those miles to make a difference. 

As well as the marathons there will be discos and other fundraising events to support Acacia. It's a cause very close to my heart and I wish they had been there when I had my girls. New mums need to know that it's OK to ask for help and they need to know that there is somewhere for them to go when times get tough and they feel lonely. A place to take away the isolation, where someone will put their arms around them and remind them of the great job they are doing.

I fully support their aim to encourage mums to talk about how they are feeling and to acknowledge when things aren't quite right. They create a community for mums so that they don't have to do it all on their own. Remember how important that cup of tea and listening ear were? I'd like to be able to support lots of those cuppas!
