Story
Thank you also to Sue and Ray, Leigh & Harvey & mum for the cash donations. Thank you to Bottomline for the £100 donation.
Well I've done it! I can honestly say it was one of the hardest things I have ever done but also one of the most rewarding. Despite the high temperatures I managed to complete the marathon in 3 hours and 51 minutes, I feel very pleased with this result. I would urge anyone who would like the challenge to have a go, its a great feeling when you finally reach the finish line!
Thanks to Sue, Caroline, Louise, & Sam for being such great training partners -
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've chosen to run for the Space to grow - Forever friends - please see the following link: http://www.foreverfriendsappeal.co.uk/nicu/Our_aim.html
As some of you may know Joshua was born 8 weeks premature and spent the first 3-4 weeks of his life in the
Neonatal intensive care unit in Bath. Josh received fantastic care from a dedicated team of staff and the outcome was a healthy child, and for this we will always be grateful. The problem that the unit has is lack of space, with several incubators in small rooms, with very little space for privacy for parents. Please see the above link to find out where the money will be spent.
