I love running. I have never taken this for granted. It gives you the chance to see the views you wouldn’t normally see on an early sunrise morning, pounding the sleeping streets, or natures beauty on the long lanes in the countryside. Some aren’t so lucky and the children who are visually impaired miss out on such simple joys BUT----

A wonderful UK based charity LOOK, supports and helps these children and their families to help build the confidence to embrace every challenge they face and succeed.

Confidence building weekends, dance workshops and a helpline, to provide practical advice and emotional support – LOOK helps families with Visually Impaired children.

My LOOK place in the London Marathon has given me two opportunities 1- To raise £1400 to support their charity and 2 - The chance to achieve a lifetime target of the marathon!!!

In return - I promise to train my butt off, in my journey to my first full marathon. My father says anyone can run a marathon- but to do it in under 4 hrs requires a lot of effort- this is my target ( and to beat his time and my twinny sisters!!!)
