Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for our Santa Dash on 15 December in Hemel Hempstead.

As many of you know, dad passed away in January 2010.

He left an indelible mark on this world through those he left behind and it was people like those at the Hospice of St Francis, that left an indelible mark on us.

The Hospice of St Francis is one of those organisations that makes an unsung difference. When the time is right they are there to make things as easy as possible for you and your loved ones - both to say goodbye but also to understand how to make the most of the time left.

I work for the Hospice. They are a family that cares for everyone and I hope that by dressing up and trying to run through the streets of Hemel on a cold December morning, I can bring a smile to someone's face (even if it is just my friends come to see me fall over yet again).

I hope you can help me raise a little bit extra for the privilege of my ritual humiliation.
