Hi, my name is Marella Whitfield, I am 11 years old and go to Sacred Heart School in Bushey.

I was selected by trials to run in the Mini London Marathon, which is the last three miles

of the full London Marathon course, on the 25th April 2010. I completed the race in a time

of 20:36 and found the whole experience very exciting.

 

I am still looking for sponsors for doing the London Mini Marathon, as I am raising money for

both The Lynda Jackson  Macmillan centre, and also for St Josephs School in Rwanda (which 

my school is also supporting). St Joseph's School is a very poor school, with very few of the

facilites which we have. I trainined very hard for this race, and would be very grateful

(as would the charities) for any money you could donate, as I am very keen to reach my target.
