Story
Cardiac Hill Disaster!
Unfortunately I did NOT make it up Cardiac Hill! Without going into too much detail, I have been quite poorly for the last month and a half and my Doctor strongly recommended not attempting even to walk the course. I would not have considered I had fulfilled my obligation to my sponsors by walking it anyway!
At the moment I am not much better, but hoping for improvement soon, with the aim of completing a half marathon before the end of the year. So thanks to everyone, you have all been very sympathetic and kind. I promise you WILL get your 2 for one offer one way or the other!
Love
Margaret

Great Manchester Run Update!
Made it and the achilles tendon is just about holding out! The new photo shows me approaching the finishing line looking much happier than I did for the rest of the course!
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far!
Just a few more weeks training then the second run!
Cheers and thanks for your support!

I know you are thinking "surely it can't be a year since her last run" - but time flies my friends! Each year I like to increase my challenge to make sure you all get value for money in my sweat! So this time I will be running both the Great Manchester Run (10k) in May and the Great Midlands Fun Run (8.5 miles including the notorious Cardiac Hill!) in June. Sort of a 2 for the price of one offer on your sponsorship!
I am again supporting the Nagajuna Trust - a school for poor and orphaned Tibetan children. We are still trying to raise the money for a new and more suitable school building.
I hope you will be able to support me and the Nagajuna Trust this year. It is such a good cause and an opportunity to help one of the smaller charities where your sponsorship can make a huge difference!
Many Thanks!
Margaret
