Maria De Cartena is raising money for Human Appeal
Story
Peace be upon you, assalamu 'alaykum, hello !
An estimated 12.2 million people are now in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 5 million children. Over 190, 000 Syrians have been killed and 1.5 million have been injured. 2 million homes have been damaged or destroted, many hospitals are either closed, inaccessible or only partially functionning and a huge percentage of Syria's children ar eno longer in school. These figured show the scale of the destruction, which has been described by some UN officials as the biggest crisis since World War II.
That is why I have the challenge to raise a minimum of 150£ to support the work of Human Appeal International in Syria. If the challenge is successful I would have the possibility to participate to the bungee jumping the 8th March in Manchester Media City organized by Human Appeal.
