It's time to Stand Up To Cancer - every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer and more than one in three of us will develop it during our lifetime.
Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 are coming together to Stand Up To Cancer. The campaign will see activities during the week commencing 15th October, through to a live television event on 19th October, with the purpose of raising money to boost the number of cancer trials accelerating new cancer treatments for UK patients. My small part in the campaign is to abseil down the Angel Building, London on 15th October (I don't remember this being in the job spec. when I joined Cancer Research UK last month!).
