I have just returned from Tanzania after an amazing adventure climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with my friend June.  The climb itself was a challenging 6 days but I was so pleased to make it to the top (despite falling on the way down and really hurting my leg so that a 3 hour walk to the final camp became a 6 and a half hour walk!)

Following the climb we had the opportunity to visit Arise school set up by ACE charity for impoverished children in the foothills of Kilimanjaro.  I didnt ask for sponsorship in advance of the climb as I didn't know which cause to do it for but if you are able to spare a few pounds to help this school, I have seen first hand the good work they do and have heard the stories of some of the children they have helped
